Ronda has over 30 years of experience within the educational and psychological professions. Ronda provides confidential, professional clinical services for individuals, couples, children, adolescents, young adults and families in both English and French. Therapeutic treatment methods are primarily influenced within Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Reality Therapy perspectives and techniques.
With warmth and compassion, Ronda works therapeutically with her clients who are seeking support towards optimal personal health and psychological wellness within varied life transitions, addictions, self-esteem enhancement, resiliency, stress reduction, anxiety reduction, and mind/body awareness growth. A COVID stress response therapeutic series is now being offered to restore and realize sound health for individuals and families as they transition through the pandemic. Duration of treatment is individualized.
Ronda is a member in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists and The Canadian Psychological Association. All Psychological services are supported by individual and family insurance plans. The fee structure is 220.00 per 50 minute session, following the professional standards set within the province of Alberta.
PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL ASSESSMENT SERVICES (French and English):
Ronda has worked as a bilingual teacher, school counsellor and learning strategist with students of all ages since 1989 and within private bilingual psychological practice since 2006. Her extensive professional training and years of experience provide her with a wealth of understanding and expertise towards helping students and families thrive within an educational setting.
Upon completion of your child's assessment with her, Ronda will provide you with a solid understanding of the results of the assessment, the implications of the results within the context of the academic day and at home, and work with you and your child gaining solid educational strategies to empower your child to move successfully forward within their education.
BY PROVIDING A THOROUGH COGNITIVE AND ACADEMIC PROFILE FOR YOUR CHILD, RONDA WILL THEN WORK WITH FAMILIES TO HELP FORMULATE A PLAN OF ACTION REGARDING A SUCCESSFUL ACADEMIC AND EDUCATIONAL PATHWAY.
